What time is check in and check out?

Check in is from 3pm and check out is by 11am.

 

What should we bring?

You don’t need to bring much. Food for meals. Wellies or sturdy shoes, water proofs and outdoor clothing. Torch. Charcoal if you wish to have a barbecue.

 

How do we get there?

Once we receive your booking, detailed instructions will be sent via email. Giving you lots of helpful information and tips, plus a description of where to leave your car and how to reach your treehouse escape.

 

Can we drive up to the treehouse?

No. To provide seclusion the treehouse is positioned out of site and away from any road. There is a designated parking space about 300 yards from the treehouse and a trolley to  help you carry your luggage.

 

What is provided?

  • Towels

  • 100% Egyptian Cotton Bed Linen

  • Welcome Hamper- small supply of milk/sugar/tea/coffee/bread and seasonal gift

  • Wood for the log burner and fire pit

  • Barbeque

  • Miles and miles of beautiful countryside!

 

Are there any hidden extras?

No

 

What are the cooking facilities?

There is a gas oven, grill and hob, with a fully equipped kitchen.

 

Is there Wifi?

This is a digital detox experience. No wi-fi or mobile reception. No emails, no messages just total relaxation surrounded by nature!

 

Is there a fridge?

Refrigeration is provided by a large cool box hidden in the chest seat beside the door. This is pre-cooled and ice blocks are provided. This specialist cold box will stay cold just like a fridge for the length of your stay. There is no freezer.

 

Is there electricity?

Yes, from renewable energy and generated on site by solar panels. This provides lighting and USB sockets. There are no standard plug sockets, therefore you cannot use any plug-in electrical items.

 

Are dogs allowed?

We are sorry but dogs are not allowed

 

Can Children come?

Ty’r Onnen treehouse is designed exclusively for two adults.

 

Is my stay environmentally friendly?

Extremely. The lighting is run from solar panels and the treehouse was made with locally sourced timber and insulated with sheep’s wool.

 

Where does the water come from?

Water comes from your own private bore hole. Bottled drinking water is provided.

 

What can we do at the treehouse?

As much or as little as you like! Most people spend the time relaxing and staying close to their treehouse, but there is lots to do nearby and in the local area – see the out and about page. We encourage you to enjoy the beautiful outdoors, wildlife and take in the breath-taking views. Venture in the farm fields and along footpaths, or explore further afield to nearby pubs, restaurants beaches and interesting attractions.
