Booking Terms and Conditions
Thank you for choosing to stay with Wild Welsh Treehouses. By making a booking with us, you are entering into a legally binding agreement. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before confirming your reservation.
1. Prices and Payment
The total booking price includes your accommodation and any additional extras selected during the booking process.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment provider.
A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total booking value is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
The remaining balance will be required 6 weeks before your arrival date. We will request this via email and a link to payment.
If we are unable to collect the final balance by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking, retain the deposit paid and re-let the accommodation.
Bookings are only confirmed once you receive a booking confirmation email from Wild Welsh Treehouses.
2. Cancellations
Once a booking has been confirmed, the deposit paid is non-refundable.
If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible.
Where the full balance has been paid, refunds will not normally be available following cancellation. We strongly recommend that guests obtain suitable travel or holiday cancellation insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances.
3. If We Have to Cancel Your Booking
In the unlikely event that we are unable to honour your confirmed booking due to circumstances beyond our control or other exceptional circumstances, we will endeavour to offer:
Alternative accommodation (where available);
Alternative dates; or
A full refund of monies paid.
Our liability shall be limited to the total amount paid for the booking.
4. Amendments to Bookings
Changes to confirmed bookings may be requested up to 6 weeks before the arrival date.
Where we are able to accommodate the requested change, an administration fee of £20 may apply.
All amendments are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
If date changes are requested please note there may be additional cost due to seasonality pricing and must be requested a minimum of 6 weeks prior the arrival date.
5. Occupancy
Only the guests named on the booking confirmation may occupy the accommodation unless agreed in advance.
The maximum occupancy of the Treehouse must not be exceeded.
We reserve the right to refuse entry or terminate a stay without refund where occupancy limits are breached.
6. Pets
Pets are not permitted at the Treehouse.
If a guest brings a pet without prior written permission, we reserve the right to terminate the booking and require the guest to leave the property without refund.
Additional cleaning, repair or damage charges will also apply.
7. Arrival and Departure
Check-In
Check-in is available from 4:00pm on the day of arrival.
Check-Out
Check-out is by 10:00am on the day of departure.
Guests are responsible for ensuring that all keys are returned to the designated secure key safe box before leaving.
Late departures may incur additional charges where they affect cleaning schedules or incoming guests.
8. Care of the Property
Guests agree to keep the accommodation, furnishings, fixtures and equipment in a clean and reasonable condition throughout their stay.
Please report any damage, breakages or maintenance issues as soon as possible.
9. Damage and Breakages
Guests are responsible for any loss, damage or breakages caused by themselves or members of their party.
We understand that minor accidents can occur and will not normally charge for reasonable wear and tear or minor breakages that are reported promptly.
However, where significant damage occurs, we reserve the right to recover the reasonable cost of repair, replacement, additional cleaning or loss of income resulting from the damage.
Failure to report significant damage may result in additional administration charges.
10. Guest Conduct
Wild Welsh Treehouses is designed to provide a peaceful and relaxing experience for all guests and neighbouring properties.
Guests are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully throughout their stay.
We reserve the right to terminate a booking without refund where behaviour is deemed unsafe, illegal, abusive, disruptive or likely to cause nuisance to neighbours or damage to the property.
11. No Smoking or Vaping
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the Treehouse, under the treehouse or on the balcony due to fire safety.
Guests wishing to smoke or vape must do so in open outdoor areas and must dispose of cigarette ends and related waste responsibly.
If smoking or vaping inside the accommodation results in additional cleaning, damage, odours or loss of future bookings, we reserve the right to recover the reasonable costs incurred.
12. Liability
Wild Welsh Treehouses Ltd shall not be liable for:
Personal Injury/death
Loss of personal belongings;
Damage to vehicles or their contents;
Losses arising from events beyond our reasonable control; or
Any indirect or consequential losses
Guests are responsible for ensuring that their personal possessions are adequately insured.
13. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any delay, cancellation, alteration or failure to perform our obligations where such failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control. These may include, but are not limited to:
Severe weather conditions;
Flooding;
Storm damage;
Power, water or utility failures;
Fire;
Disease outbreaks or public health emergencies;
Government restrictions or regulations;
Industrial disputes;
Road closures or transport disruption; or
Any other unforeseen event beyond our reasonable control.
Where such circumstances affect your booking, we will make every reasonable effort to offer alternative dates or a suitable solution. However, we will not be responsible for compensation of losses, costs or expenses incurred as a result of such events.
14. Fire Pit and Outdoor Fire Safety
The fire pit is provided for guest enjoyment and must be used responsibly at all times.
Guests agree to:
Follow all instructions provided regarding the safe use of the fire pit;
Never leave a fire unattended;
Ensure fires are fully extinguished before leaving the area or retiring for the evening;
Supervise children at all times when the fire pit is in use;
Use only firewood for log burners related to the hot tub and inside log burner (Ty’r Onnen only) , and only firewood or charcoal for the fire pit or BBQ.
Refrain from burning rubbish, plastics or any unsuitable materials.
Wild Welsh Treehouses Ltd reserves the right to prohibit the use of the fire pit during periods of dry weather, high winds or where local fire risk is considered elevated.
Guests are responsible for any damage caused through misuse of the fire pit or failure to follow safety instructions.
15. Hot Tub Use
The hot tub is provided for guest enjoyment and must be used safely and responsibly.
Guests agree that:
the Hot tub guide and instructions provided in each treehouse are read and adhered to
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times;
No glassware should be used in or around the hot tub;
Guests should follow all operating and safety instructions provided;
The hot tub must not be used by anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
Guests should shower before entering the hot tub where possible;
No chemicals or substances may be added to the water; and
The hot tub cover must be replaced after use to maintain water quality and safety.
For health and safety reasons, pregnant guests and those with heart conditions, circulatory problems, epilepsy or other medical conditions should seek medical advice before using the hot tub.
Guests are expected to follow all safety guidance provided. Wild Welsh Treehouses Ltd cannot accept responsibility for injury, illness, damage or loss arising from misuse of the hot tub or failure to follow safety instructions.
16. Data Protection
Any personal information collected during the booking process will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.
Information may be used for:
Managing and administering your booking;
Providing customer support;
Meeting legal and accounting obligations; and
Sending marketing communications where you have provided consent.
